UNDERSTANDING THERAPY

THERAPY

People must understand precisely what therapy is for, what therapy is supposed to accomplish, and how vital forces are in the therapy process. People usually make the error of believing that the therapist is the most critical component of the therapy process, "FALSE!". The client is the most vital & most potent force in the therapeutic process: WHY?

A. No matter how much education, training, or experience a therapist could never know a client better than they know themselves; you have been with yourself unceasingly all your life.

B. Everything you're searching for, all questions, answers, and solutions, already exists inside you. You don't know it; you're not aware of it; the problem is you lack self-awareness & self-insight about who you are & what you can do.

C. The therapist's job is to assist you in formulating a deeper, richer conscious awareness of self, of your strengths and weaknesses, to develop healthier perceptions & perspectives of your life.
